Day 4 -- Luang Prabang
After Breakfast, we will explore the city, we visit the National Museum housed in the former Royal Palace and Wat Xieng Thong well known example of Luang Prabang temple architecture. Lunch. Afternoon visit Wat Mai, Wat Visoun and the hand weaving village at Ban Phanom. Overnight: Luang Prabang.

Day 5 -- Luang Prabang - Xieng Khouang
Breakfast. Transfer to airport for flight to Phonesavanh, the capital of Xieng Khouang. Transfer to the hotel. (transportation here is by non air-conditioned jeep or 4 WD). Lunch. Afternoon visit the main site of the jars which number several hundred and range in size up to 6 to ones. They are thought to be several thousand years old. Continue to Salato Mountain where there is a second and rarely-visited site. Overnight: Xieng Khouang

Day 6 -- Xieng Khouang - Vientiane
Breakfast. Visit the Market. Transfer to airport to fly to Vientiane. Arrival in Vientiane and transfer to the hotel. Lunch. Afternoon city tour and visit its beautiful temple: Wat Pra Keo , the original home of the emerald Buddha, Wat Sisaket, the only temple in Vientiane that has survived the destruction of the city by the Siamese, That Luang Stupa, the National shrine with the golden stupa, Patuxai, a large monument reminiscent of the Arc de Triumph in Paris. Continue watching the sunset on the Mekong river. Overnight: Vientiane

Day 7 -- Vientiane - Pakse
Breakfast. Transfer to airport to fly to Pakse. Boat trip to Champasack and visit Wat Phou, the ruins of Khmer. Check in hotel and lunch. Afternoon visit the hidden ruins of Oun Moung Overnight Pakse.

Dag 8 -- Pakse - Attopeu - Pakse
Breakfast. Leave the hotel after breakfast by car for a day trip to Attapeu Province. Stop on the way at the Bolaven Plateau, a fertile area where the best coffee in Laos is grown by the local ethnic minorities. There are several impressive waterfalls in the area including Sekatamtok Waterfall. Lunch on the way. Overnight Pakse.

Dag 9 -- Pakse - Tad Lo
Breakfast. Leave after breakfast by road for Tad Lo, a scenic riverside area with waterfalls and rock pools. On arrival at Tad Lo explore the villages, forests and streams on elephant back, a practical and nice way to discover the countryside. Overnight Tad Lo.

Day 10 -- Tad Lo - Pakse - Chongmeck Breakfast. Transfer to the boarder, Laos / Thailand, or to Pakse Airport.
