Itinerary in short.
07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Kanchanaburi
by air conditioned van to Sangklaburi.
10:00 Upon arrival, continue to Karen Elephant
Village.
10:30 Start elephant riding into the jungle.
The route runs up and down the mountainous area, leading to
Huai Payoh stream. A lot of fun throughout 90 minutes on the
riding trail is followed by a picnic lunch by the stream.
12:00 Excited with bamboo rafting along the
stream and its peaceful environs. Be impressed with its topical
spells all the way through.
12:40 Get off the raft and start a wonderful
journey with ox-cart ride to the Karen village to join in a
traditional welcome ceremony.
14:00 A visit to Three Pagodas Pass along Thai-Burma
border.
14:40 Glimpse the Three Pagodas Pass and its
surroundings. Shopping can be done if you find a wide range
of wooden items from Burma attractive at cheap prices.
15:30 Depart for the town of Kanchanaburi.
19:00 Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel
in Kanchanaburi.
