HGN 20 - ½ Day - Boat Trip on Pai River
& Elephant Ride ( private tour )
Daily departure from Mae Hong Son, but only
as a private tour.
Drive from your hotel 15-20 minutes to the
banks of the Pai River. We travel by boat with "on-board"
motor, a relaxing ride through charming scenery as far as
we may to the border with Burma. Here is a police post in
rural surroundings, the last checkpoint in Thai territory.
Return by boat to the elephant camp for a gentle ride in
the forest atop a small Siamese elephant, 2 persons per
animal on comfortable seat facing forward. Time: Approximately
5 hours.
