In the afternoon we make an exploration into
a cave nearby the resort. Dinner and overnight in the cosy wooden
bungalows ( private bathroom ) of the Umphang Hill Resort.
Day 02. After breakfast departure
for a spectacular ride on a bamboo raft over the Mae Klong River.
Enjoy the dense jungle of Umphang on the way to the Thasai Cave.
Observe many colourful birds and hopefully some Gibbons (monkeys)
and other extensive flora and fauna. We make stops at the Tilorchor
Waterfalls, hot springs and pass the exciting Takubi Rapids.
Lunch (picnic). In the afternoon we arrive at the Thasai Cave,
where we get off the raft and prepare a tent camp in the entrance
of the cave. Dinner at the campfire and overnight in the tent.

Day 03. The sound of the jungle
will wake us up. Breakfast and departure for a long trek to
the famous Tilorzu Waterfall, the largest in South East Asia.
Declared by the Wildlife Fund as 'World Heritage'. After lunch
at the foresty camp near the waterfalls you can take a refreshing
swim in the lower basin of the waterfall. Dinner and overnight
in the foresty camp.
Day 04. Wake up before sunrise
and walk to the viewpoint. From here you have an astonishing
view of the extensive cascades. Back to the camp for breakfast
after which we start walking to a Kotha Karen Village. Arrive
at the village and take a rest before we continue for a ride
of 3 hours by elephant to the Palata Karen Village. Elephants
are the true kings of the jungle. Experience the majesty of
travelling through jungle trails on elephant back. A journey
you never forget! Picnic lunch on the way. Late afternoon arrival
in the village. Dinner and overnight in the village.
Day 05. Early wake up and we
go by pick up truck to see one of the attractions of Umphang,
the Taleymork or the 'Sea of Clouds'. From the mountain top
Doi Huamod you can see the fading clouds hanging over the jungle.
Return for breakfast and to explore the hill tribe village.
After lunch we depart for Mae Sot. On the way we stop at several
hill tribe villages and visit a small silverware factory of
the Hmong hill tribe. After arrival in Mae Sot we visit the
bustling market near the Burmese border. In the afternoon transfer
to the airport, bus station or your hotel in Mae Sot.
