30 - Elephant & Jeep Safari

Daily departure from Phuket, but only joining
with other travellers.
Total tour length is about 3 hours including
hotel transfers. Elephants - look at them, touch them, learn
all about them, feed them with bananas and trek on elephant
back for about 30 minutes. Find out about Siam Safari’s
elephant conservation project. Learn how monkeys are trained
to pick coconuts, a part of traditional southern Thai life.
Try a ride on a buffalo cart. Jeep Safari - travel by 4x4
in to Chalong Highlands, see great views over Phuket Island.
Stop at a local house to see how the people live. Watch
a demonstration of Thai cooking and see how rubber trees
are tapped to produce natural rubber latex.
