here are impressive and that is the place, where we will start

our private boat to Koh Sukorn. Check-in and overnight at Sukorn

of Ko Sukorn. Visit the small crab- & shrimp-market. Handicraft
mat-making. Lunch in a private, typical Thai house on the island.
Rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy the beach and hopefully a
nice sunset.
Day 5 & 6. Day at leisure on Koh Sukorn.
Optional boat trip to the nearby fantasy-full shaped islands
with crystal-clear waters and high cliffs. Koh Lao Lieng, well-known
for their swallow-bird nests, a Chinese and very expensive delicatessen.
Or spend your day relaxing on the beach or rent a motorcycle
or mountain bike to explore the island. You may also enjoy a
Traditional Thai Massage.
Koh Sukorn counts about 2.500 inhabitants in 4 villages, mainly
fishermen and farmers. There are only a few cars on the island,
transport by foot and motorbike ( taxi ). Koh Sukorn Island
( 8 x 4 kms ) is rather flat, 2 hills however reaching 150 metres.
Day 7. Transfer by private car and boat back
to Trang.
Sukorn Beach Bungalows
Approximately one and a half hours ride by car and boat from
the airport in Trang, the Dutchman Dick te Brake and his Thai
partner Worrawut Wadee settled and opened Koh Sukorn Beach Bungalows.
The property is situated on the island Koh Sukorn which is 8
km long and 4 km wide. This island has several beaches and at
the most remote and quite one, you will find their 15 rooms
and bungalows. The beach and the sand is dark, but the water
is clean. The lodgement is prudent, but well kept. No telephone,
no TV, no radio, no mobile phone. Electricity works between
6 PM and 11 PM daily. Sukorn Beach Bungalows offers 7 individual
bungalows and 2 houses with each 4 hotel rooms. The rooms as
well as the bungalows are simple furnished, but very well kept
and clean, fan, shower ( only natural warm water ), a 'patio'
and toilet with manual flushing. The 'open air' restaurant offers
tasty Thai as well as International kitchen. The Hotel will
help you arranging trips to explore the island as well as by
boat ( fishing can be very interesting ) to nearby islands,
motor- and mountainbike-rental, sea-canoes free of charge. Traditional
Thai Massage on the beach.
