This temple is the one, if not the most holy
temple in Thailand. After our visit in the temple, we continue
to Sukhotai and overnight at the hotel Pailyn (or similar),
situated approximately 4km. from Sukhothai’s historical
park. Dinner at the Hotel.
Day 2. Sukhothai - Lampang
( B,L,D )
After breakfast we will visit the historical park of Sukhothai,
famous for its many ruins of temples and Buddha images. Sukhothai
was the first capital of old Siam. The country of Sukhothai
used to be a very good country. "The one that wants to
trade with horses, can do so. The one that wants to trade with
silver or gold, can do so. The people is satisfied". The
King Ramkhamhaeng is freedom and respect, and he is still today
honoured as a great King among his people. His bench, the one
he used to sit upon, a copy is found in the park by the ruins
of the castle. Lunch at a local restaurant. Thereafter we continue
our journey to Lampang, where we will spend the night at the
charming hotel, Lampang River Lodge (or similar), situated in
the outskirts of Lampang. Before we check in at the hotel we
will make a short city tour. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3. Lampang - Chiang Mai

Departure from Lampang to Chiang Mai. We will visit a hospital
for elephants. On our road to Chiang Mai, we will drop in and
visit the mountain tribe of Karen. We will also go by Pasang,
a cotton weaving village and Wat Haripoonchai, a beautiful Temple
in Lampoon. Lunch will be catered at a local restaurant and
in the afternoon we will do a stop in a craftsman town, where
we will look into some workshops, to see and study how one crafts
beautiful furniture made of teak wood and rosewood. The tour
ends at the hotel or at the airport in Chiang Mai.
Tour Includes: Air conditioned car / coach with an English
speaking guide, 2 nights accommodation in shared twin room,
5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, 2 dinners. No beverages included and
