Neck Karen Village by Boat ( private tour )
Daily departure from Mae Hong Son, but only
as a private tour.
Drive from your hotel to the banks of the
Pai River. We travel by boat downstream to the Burmese border,
a relaxed ride through charming countryside. Here we visit
a village of "Long neck" Karen refugees from Burma.
Apart from visitor donations ( made by our guide ) their
income derives from the sale of handicrafts made on site.
Return by boat and car. Time: Approximately 3 hours.
