HGN 70 - Day tour - Trekking, Elephant Ride &
Bamboo Rafting ( private tour )
Daily departure from Mae Hong Son, but only
as a private tour.
Start from your hotel at 9 am to drive to
the elephant camp for a 1 hour ride in deep forest on elephant
back, crossing the Pai River to take rafts for a trip on
the river for about 1½ hours. We start the trek with
40 minutes walk in flat country, then ascend for about 1
hour and, following a descent of about 40-50 minutes, finish
the walk with 20-30 minutes on level ground again. Return
to your hotel by car. Time: Approximately 7-8 hours.
