The views during the trek are breathtaking and
you will have ample opportunity to observe flora and animal
life from near by. This relatively unknown trek is possible
largely due to the efforts of the people of Khiriwong, convinced
of the importance of local communities and ecosystems.
For this trek you do not need to be an athlete,
however you do need to have a basic physical condition. You
need to be able to walk through mountainous area for a few days.
More importantly, you need to have the right mental attitude.
A good feeling for adventure and be able to cope with heat and
fatigue. You will sleep in simple accommodation, you will sweat
and get dirty, wash yourself in river streams and the lavatory
will sometimes be behind a forest tree, but you will be rewarded
with a unique adventure, spectacular views, wonderful people,
a fit body, an empty mind and a great feeling of satisfaction
at the end of the tour.
The following itinerary is a sample program.
