Vietnam 43 – 3 Days / 2 Nights The Spirit of The Central Highlands ( private tour )

Daily departure from Ho Chi Minh City, but only as a private tour.

Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City-Buon Ma Thuot-Lak Lake (L,D)
An early start to catch the 06:50 flight to Buon Ma Thuot. On arrival transfer by road to Lak Lake, about 50km to the south. At Jun Village take a 45-minute elephant ride around the shore of Lak Lake and past the thatched wooden houses as the villagers go about their daily life. Lunch is served at a village longhouse and in the afternoon take to the lake in a pirogue, the traditional hollowed out tree-trunk used by the local fishermen. In the evening enjoy dinner at the longhouse and sample the local firewater, a kind of rice wine drank from a communal jar through bamboo straws. Overnight accommodation is basic, on a mattress on the floor of a village longhouse.

Day 2 Lak Lake-Buon Ma Thuot-Dektu (B,L,D)
Say goodbye and leave Jun Village after breakfast for the 5-hour drive to Pleiku, 250km to the north.

There is plenty to see either side of the road as Highway 14 passes by coffee, tea and mulberry plantations. The Buon Ma Thuot area is the coffee capital of Vietnam and it is possible to stop off at a plantation for a closer look. There are also many villages worth visiting along the route belonging to the Jarai, Ede and Bahnar minorities. Arrive at the Bahnar village, Dektu, late in the afternoon and after a simple dinner there is an opportunity to get involved in some more rice wine sampling with the locals. Overnight accommodation is basic, on a mattress on the floor of a village longhouse.

Day 3 Dektu-Pleiku-Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Transfer to Pleiku Airport after a leisurely breakfast for the 11:04 return flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to hotel on arrival.

Tour Includes: Accommodation in shared twin room with daily breakfast (Hotel Category: Standard ), 02 lunches and 02 dinners, Land transportation by air-conditioned vehicles with driver, Elephant ride, boat ride, English or French speaking local guides and Entrance fees for mentioned visits.
