The most important of all Thai monuments, The Grand Palace has to be the one must-see item on your agenda and it is almost too beautiful to adequately describe in words! You will not really be able to say that you have visited Thailand without seeing it! The Palace was the residence of the early Chakri dynasty kings built some 220 years ago. The architecture is so stunning and breathtaking that you will need tons of film with you for your cameras. Within the extensive Palace grounds is the most sacred Buddha, made from one solid piece of translucent green jade. This tour is absolutely not to be missed! To round off the tour, we call in at a local lapidary factory & showroom.
