From the beach resorts of Hua Hin, we drive towards Ratchburi
province stopping en route at a local sugar cane factory -
a major crop grown and harvested in these parts. Up on arrival
at Damnern Saduak, we board a boat for a fascinating cruise
through the canals leading to the market. Here you will see
the vendors displaying and selling local products. Driving
back to Petchburi, we explore the impressive summer residence
"Khao Wang" built on the hillside by King Mongkut
( Rama IV ) in the 19th century. On top of the hill, we visit
the palace and enjoy the superb view of the town and surrounding
area.
